Torrid waters

I’ve recently spent some time on the banks of the Suwannee River in north Florida talking to protestors campaigning against the construction of an new 515-mile natural gas pipeline under construction through Alabama, Georgia and Florida. It seems sort of ironic that my article was published on the same day, even within the same hour, as the White House announced that President Trump was to sign an executive order reversing Obama-era decisions to halt the equally controversial Dakota Access and Keystone pipelines.
